jtex-base software package provides basic NTT JTeX library files, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install jtex-base
jtex-base is installed in your system.
Make ensure the jtex-base package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep jtex-base *
You will get with jtex-base package name, version, architecture and description in a table
